Faith & Friends Services was founded on a simple conviction — that every resident in assisted living, memory care, and hospice deserves to feel seen, valued, and spiritually cared for.
We partner with assisted living, memory care, and hospice communities to provide consistent, compassionate, and spiritually meaningful programming for residents.
Bible studies, devotionals, and prayer that bring comfort, peace, and encouragement to residents who long for spiritual connection.
Listening to residents’ stories, offering encouragement, and creating space where every individual feels heard, valued, and supported.
Interactive activities, music, and group discussions that strengthen community and brighten daily life for residents and staff alike.
“My mission with Faith & Friends Services is to facilitate spiritual peace and meaningful connection through faith-based engagement in assisted living, memory care, and hospice communities.”
— Kristina Ivashinko, FounderFounder & Director · Colorado Springs, Colorado
Colorado Springs has been home to our family for over 20 years, where my husband and I raised our three sons. It is a place that means a great deal to me, and I am grateful to continue serving the community we have been part of for so many years.
In my personal time, I enjoy reading, running outdoors, and traveling. I also hold a degree in Communications, which has shaped the way I connect with others and lead group programs.
About six years ago, I began volunteering in assisted living communities through my church, where I started leading Bible studies and facilitating activities for seniors. What began as volunteering quickly became something I deeply valued and felt consistently drawn to.
Through this work, I have had the privilege of spending time with many wonderful residents—listening to their stories, leading Bible discussions, offering encouragement, and creating meaningful moments of connection. I have seen how important it is for individuals to feel heard, valued, and supported, especially in the later stages of life.
“Over time, these experiences developed into a lasting commitment to senior care — a deep appreciation for the role of spiritual support, prayer, and compassionate presence in bringing comfort and peace to residents in assisted living, memory care, and hospice settings.”
I recognize that there is a need for spiritual care within senior living communities, as many residents feel isolated or are no longer able to continue their previous faith practices. Many are seeking spiritual peace.
My mission with Faith & Friends Services is to facilitate these needs through faith-based engagement in assisted living, memory care, and hospice communities.
With care,
Kristina Ivashinko
